Senior Systems Administrator

§     Lead Architect for the International division.

§     Designed and implemented Linux based domain, messaging and print solution using Samba and Samsung Contact.

§     Designed and implemented billing infrastructure.  These servers bill over $2 million a month, and process millions of call records worth over $5 million monthly.

§     Implemented and sustained Cisco CallManager VoIP PBX solution.  Implemented toll-bypass which significantly cut international long distance fees.  Ran centralized PBX in Florida for the entire Caribbean, servicing markets with only 384k of bandwidth to the PBX utilizing multicast, G.729 codecs, and other bandwidth saving technologies.

§     Functioned as interim DBA for the billing system.  Functioned as a Billing Analyst to extract complex datasets and reports as well as helping with operations issues, such as issuing credits for billing errors.

§     Transitioned to a Windows 2003/Exchange 2003 architecture in 2005 to integrate with Blackberry Enterprise Server.

§     Received the Spirit of Excellence award the first quarter eligible.

§     Founded a company to service small businesses in the Western and Northwestern Arkansas areas.  Focused on selling outsourced IT solutions and service contracts to reduce small business’ dependence on in-house personnel or large consulting companies.

§     Built a business with over 100 clients providing everything from PC support to large scale network implementations.

 

1999-2002                     ProphetLine/SpectrumRetail                 Fort Smith, AR

Director of Internetworking/Chief Architect

§     Developed an outsourced ISP solution that delivered reliable communications to run ProphetLine’s custom data replication system.

§     Developed an ASP solution to deliver Visual ProphetLine, a SQL Server based product to customers over a Citrix thin-client architecture.

§     Developed a custom in-house web application for customer management which allowed customers to manage their ISP accounts, ASP accounts, view and submit trouble tickets and view their bills online.

§     In role as Chief Architect for Visual ProphetLine, oversaw all development from a technical perspective to ensure all technologies used and all data structures met a consistent corporate vision.  Approved all enhancements to the product, designed and coded many enhancements, and designed all data structures.

§     Developed integrations between both ProphetLine for Windows and Visual ProphetLine and various other partner applications, including Great Plains Dynamics/Small Business Manager.

Network Engineer

§     Responsible for all IP traffic on a three state network with over 80 routers and over 200 terminal servers, servicing customers in over 200 markets.  Supervised and implemented over 20 of the sites personally, including ordering circuits, installing the equipment, and integrating them into the network.

§     Maintained company PBX, including maintaining interconnection with PSTN, internal VoIP network, and internal call routing and call distribution.

§     Developed web based applications for circuit tracking and network management using server side scripting languages and database backends.
